Introducing our staff
- Dr. Sujin Ju
Dr. Sujin Ju graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with honors. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association and Alachua County Dental Association. Dr. Sujin Ju is currently a part-time adjunct clinical assistant professor working with junior and senior dental student in the clinic. She holds a dental license in South Korea, is fluent in Korean, and is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.
- Fabiola Garcia
Faby was born and raised in Venezuela. She moved to the United States almost 6 years ago after finishing high school. She attended the Dental Assisting Program at Santa Fe College, where she also got her AA degree. After graduating from Santa Fe College, Faby attended Saint Leo University – Gainesville Center where she got her Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Management. During the dental assisting program, Faby had the opportunity to learn about the different areas in dentistry and how these can help others improve their life and health. Faby enjoys the office’s calm environment and she believes the doctor and the employees make a great team at Sujin Smiles. In the future, Faby wants to go back to school to get a degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as going to the beach. Faby speaks fluent Spanish and English.
- Asia Pak
Asia graduated from Santa Fe College with a Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2006 and an Associated Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010.After gaining experience as both a General and Oral Surgery Assistant, she decided to return to school. She has now been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 4 years and has had the opportunity to work under the supervision of General Dentist and Periodontist. Her combined experience has added to her confidence as a hygienist. She strives to further improve her skills and deliver the best care possible. She enjoys working with Dr. Ju helping her patient’s learn about their oral health and how best to improve and maintain their health. This is accomplished through evaluating the current status the periodontium, tailored treatment planning, maintenance protocols and specified oral hygiene instructions to best fit each patient’s needs and concerns. She recently finished her first half marathon and in looking forward to the next.
